Developers from Microsoft continue to expand the availability of Copilot AI assistant in different applications of the Windows 11 operating system. This time a special Copilot start-up button appeared in the Paint graphic editor. After pressing the Copilot button, a small menu opens in Paint, which contains functions based on generative algorithms, such as Cocreator, Image Creator and Generative Erase. The appearance of the Copilot button in Paint was the next Microsoft step in the desire to integrate your AI assistant wherever possible, starting from keyboards to the Windows taskbar.
Recently, Microsoft has already added several functions to Paint to create images based on the work of generative neural networks. At the end of 2023, the Cocreator function on the basis of the Dall-E algorithm appeared in the graphic editor. Later, the developers added several more AI tools, which after the Copilot button will be collected in one place.
The mentioned innovation is part of the update, which began to spread this week and will become available to the participants of the pre -evaluation of Windows Insider on the DEV and Canary channels. The update also contains improvements for the function of the AI. Now users will be able to use this tool for searching for photos in the cloud by means of commands in a natural language. Previously, such an opportunity was limited by local files.
