There are plenty of wireless devices out there that can run out of power at the worst possible time, so it’s always nice when a new product comes onto the market with impressive battery life. One of these devices is the new Marshall Monitor III ANC Bluetooth headphones, which are sure to last all day without recharging.
According to the developers, the new product can work autonomously for up to 70 hours with active noise reduction (ANC) enabled. If you turn off noise reduction, the battery life will increase to 100 hours, i.e. more than four days of continuous audio playback. A full charging cycle takes two and a half hours, which is quite long, but quite understandable, given that the design uses a fairly capacious battery.
Marshall notes that the noise-canceling feature implemented here blocks out extraneous sounds more effectively than similar technologies previously used in the company’s headphones. The developers have implemented support for adaptive volume technology, which reacts to the environment around the user and automatically adjusts the sound volume without loss of quality.
For users who like to tinker with EQ settings, there’s a dedicated “M” button and the Marshall Bluetooth app, which is compatible with Android and iOS devices. The user can customize the physical “M” button to switch between three saved equalizer settings or activate the voice assistant on the smartphone. The companion app also has separate settings for the voice assistant and the Spotify Tap feature, which lets you start listening to music from Spotify on compatible devices with one tap.
The Monitor III ANC headphones weigh 250 grams, which is slightly less than the Monitor II ANC model. Support for Bluetooth LE and Auracast technology has been implemented, allowing users to join Auracast broadcasts close to them. As for the cost, the new Marshall Monitor III ANC headphones can be purchased for $350.
