MANLI introduced its versions of the GEFORCE RTX 5090D and RTX 5080 video cards in the Gallardo (Racing) corporate design. Distinctive features of the novelties are a cooling system equipped with a built-in spoiler that emphasizes the racing theme of the series, as well as support for voice control of RGB-lighting.
The Quasarzone portal received at its disposal the GEFORCE RTX 5080 Gallardo (Racing) model and found out how the spoiler declared in its composition works. The company describes it as a “DRAG Reduction System, DRS system).
Initially, it may seem that this is an ordinary marketing move, aimed at fans of the F1 racing series. It is mainly so. However, the anti -wing, installed on the video card, really operates or at least simulates the functionality of this element of the racing car. At the same time, it works automatically and does not require the participation of the user.
A special lattice is installed in the rear of the video card, which opens when GPU reaches a certain temperature, allowing the accelerator to take more hot air from working components and radiator. The function is mainly aesthetic. When the card is in downtime, the lattice remains closed, and under load it opens. Everything works on the motor.
Another interesting feature of the video card is the support of the voice control of RGB backlight. On the market there were already video cards with support for management through mobile applications, but the Manli GeForce RTX 5080 Gallardo (Racing) differs from them by a built -in microphone. The vocal control system of the video card is activated when the user pronounces the phrase: “Hello, Gallardo”. The function allows you to choose the color and type of backlight, as well as turn it on or disable it.
The card is also equipped with a USB Type-C connector, which allows you to connect it to a similar connector on the motherboard and use the RGB-backlight control function built into Windows.
