Mac Studio and Mac Pro with Apple M4 Ultra chips will not be released until mid-2025

Updated versions of Apple Mac Studio and Mac Pro computers with the latest Apple M4 series processors will not appear on the market anytime soon. According to Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman, both devices will be presented no earlier than the middle of next year, or even closer to its end.

The report said that Mac Studio with M4 series chips will hit the market in the middle of next year. This could mean the computer will debut at WWDC in June. As for the Mac Pro with the M4 series chip, according to the journalist, Apple will release the device only in the second half of 2025. Since it is said about the second half, and not the middle of the year, we can assume that the updated Mac Pro will appear in the fall of next year.

It is noted that the Mac Pro and Mac Studio will use M4 Max and M4 Ultra chips, which have not yet been officially presented. At the moment, Apple has begun to widely use only the standard version of the M4 processor, which became the hardware basis of the iPad Pro tablet computer. Later this month, Apple is expected to announce a Mac Mini and iMac with M4 chips, as well as a MacBook Pro based on the M4 Pro and M4 Max. In turn, the updated MacBook Air will appear early next year.
