Logitech introduced the G Pro X Superlight 2 Dex wireless gaming mouse. The new product differs from the regular G Pro X Superlight 2 mainly in its asymmetrical shape, as well as an improved sensor with support for a polling rate of 8000 Hz.
Compared to the G Pro X Superlight 2, the new G Pro X Superlight 2 Dex has a slightly more forward bottom that curves to the left. On the one hand, this allows you to more comfortably fix the position of your palm. However, this makes it less versatile for both right-handers and left-handers than the original Pro X Superlight 2.
В G Pro X Superlight 2 Dex, как и в оригинальной Pro X Superlight 2, используется оптический сенсор Hero 2, но в усовершенствованном виде. У новой модели его максимальное разрешение увеличено с 32 тыс. до 44 тыс. DPI, максимальное ускорение выросло с 40G до 80G, а скорость отслеживания — до 888 IPS (у оригинала >500 IPS), making it the fastest on the market.
The weight of the G Pro X Superlight 2 Dex has not changed compared to the previous model and is 60 grams. Also, the stated maximum operating time in wireless mode has not changed – up to 95 hours. However, it should be taken into account that this characteristic is given for the mouse operating mode with a standard polling rate of 1000 Hz. The manufacturer does not indicate the operating time of the new product at a polling frequency of 8000 Hz, but we can definitely say that it will be lower.
The G Pro X Superlight 2 Dex costs $160, the same as the previous model. The new product is available in black, white and pink.
In addition to the G Pro X Superlight 2 Dex, Logitech also introduced the G Pro 2 Lightspeed. It has a symmetrical shape and uses the Hero 2 sensor with a resolution of up to 32 thousand DPI. This new product claims the same battery life of up to 95 hours. However, its weight is 20 grams more.
The G Pro 2 Lightspeed is available in black, white and pink. And its cost is $130.
