At the annual MWC 2025 exhibition, Lenovo unveiled several updated laptops that will go on sale in the coming months. Among the new products are the ultra-light ThinkPad X13, the first 2-in-1 laptop in the T-series – ThinkPad T14s, as well as the updated ThinkBook 16p.
First of all, we note the appearance of the latest 13.3-inch ThinkPad X13 Gen 6, which is an ultraportable business laptop. The developers were able to make the device even lighter. Last year’s model weighed 1.02 kg, while the updated version of the device weighs 0.93 kg (although in some configurations it will be heavier).
The sixth-generation ThinkPad X13 will be available in various configurations, including models with AMD Ryzen AI Pro 300 and Intel Core Ultra 7 processors. The standard configuration comes with up to 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and a solid-state drive with a capacity of up to 2 TB. The design uses a removable 41 Wh or 54.7 Wh battery. Lenovo ThinkPad X13 Gen 6 will go on sale in some markets in June this year. The retail price of the new product will start at $ 1,139.
Lenovo also brought an updated ThinkPad T14s laptop to the exhibition, which in addition to the standard version will be available as a 2-in-1 device. The developers equipped the laptop with a 14-inch touchscreen display with WUXGA resolution and a peak brightness of 500 cd/m². The ThinkPad T14s in the maximum configuration is equipped with an Intel Core Ultra 7 processor combined with 64 GB of RAM and a 1 TB drive. Optionally, the laptop can be equipped with a Wi-Fi 7 wireless adapter and a 5G module, as well as a removable 58 Wh battery.
As for the available interfaces, the developers equipped the ThinkPad T14s with two Thunderbolt 4 ports, a pair of USB Type-A with a data transfer rate of up to 5 Gbps, one HDMI 2.1, as well as an Ethernet connector, a SIM card slot, and an audio jack. The Lenovo ThinkPad T14s 2-in-1 version will go on sale in June. Its price starts at $1,719. The standard version of the device will go on sale at the same time for a price of $1,674.
The developers also brought an updated ThinkBook 16p Gen 6 laptop to the exhibition, for which they also announced a series of additional screens. The laptop boasts a 16-inch IPS display with support for a resolution of 3.2K. The updated version of the devices has a high TDP of 180 W, which increases to 200 W when Geek Mode is activated.
This approach allows the notebook to power a discrete NPU, a mobile processor up to Intel Core Ultra 9 and an Nvidia GeForce RXT 5070 graphics accelerator, as well as up to 64 GB of DDR5 RAM. The notebook is equipped with a pair of Thunderbolt 4 ports, two USB Type-A (5 Gbps), one USB Type-A (10 Gbps), HDMI 2.1, a card reader, a SIM card slot and a standard audio jack. The design includes a Wi-Fi 7 wireless adapter and a fingerprint scanner.
Lenovo will begin selling the ThinkPad T14 Gen 6 and ThinkPad T16 Gen 4 laptops this May. Both devices will be available in different configurations with AMD Ryzen Pro AI 300 and Intel Core Ultra processors. The ThinkPad T14 Gen 6 will start at $1,359, while the ThinkPad T16 Gen 4 will start at $1,623.
In the second quarter, sales of the more affordable ThinkPad E14 Gen 7 will begin, starting at $849, and the ThinkPad E16 Gen 3 will start at $859, as well as an updated 2-in-1 ThinkBook 14 Gen 5 model, starting at $1,374.
