Kim Kardashian personally tested the Optimus robot and Tesla Cybercab self-driving taxi

Kim Kardashian got a unique opportunity to test the Tesla Optimus humanoid robot. The reality star posted videos on her social media showing her interacting with Optimus. She asked the robot to form a heart shape with its hands, dance like a Hawaiian party, and play rock, paper, scissors.

Later, according to TechCrunch, Kardashian turned her attention to a gold, one-of-a-kind version of the robot that sits in the driver’s seat inside the Tesla Cybercab, a two-seat autonomous car that Elon Musk says will begin production in 2027. She greeted Optimus with, “Hello, sir.” And although Kardashian did not show the ride in the Cybercab itself in the video, she described the car as “crazy” and “incredible.” Musk didn’t respond directly to Kardashian’s video, but he did retweet one of her X posts.

Tesla showed off its Optimus robots at its “We, Robot” event last month, but despite the impressive presentation, the robots that greeted guests were not autonomous and were controlled by humans. Probably, the interaction of the American star with Optimus was also carried out with the participation of operators.

Interestingly, Kardashian has long been a fan of Tesla. She has her own Cybertruck, although, as TechCrunch reports, she was recently pulled over by police for having her front windows tinted too dark.
