Intel announced its Assured Supply Chain (ASC) program for enterprises, introducing a range of new commercial mobile processors, including the Intel Core Ultra 200V, 200U, 200H, 200S, and even the 200HX. The ASC program provides customers with tracking of all stages of production, packaging, and delivery of ordered chips, similar to monitoring the fulfillment of an online order at a restaurant or marketplace.

All processors included in the Intel ASC program are based on the Lunar Lake and Arrow Lake architectures, and essentially duplicate existing consumer processors, the only difference being the support of the commercial chips for the Intel vPro platform. The company did not announce any new capabilities for vPro or provide journalists with a list of specific commercial chips that will be released under the ASC.
ASC is scheduled to launch in the second half of 2025 or early 2026. Dell, HP, and Lenovo are among the program’s partners. Assured Supply Chain chips will be marked with an “A” in the product number, but their nomenclature will not completely replicate the consumer processor lineup. Only “select” chips will be included in the program, according to Intel. Intel and its partners have planned more than 150 projects based on these new commercial chips throughout 2025.
During the ASC presentation, Intel didn’t go into detail about the rationale behind the program. Intel envisions ASC as providing “a digital chain of custody for every chip in production, showing the manufacturing steps at specific Intel manufacturing sites.”
