Intel releases driver with support for Arc B580 and new Arc Graphics Control Center

For the first time in a long time, Intel has released a fresh graphics driver package that has been fully tested by Microsoft for compatibility and received WHQL status. The new version of the Arc Graphics driver 32.0.101.6325/6252 WHQL adds support for the new Arc B series video cards (codenamed Battlemage).

The updated software includes the new Intel Graphics Software (IGS) graphics control center, which replaces the Arc Software application introduced with previous generation Arc Alchemist graphics cards. Formally, the new application performs the same functions as the previous one: users can configure game settings, optimize them for their GPUs, update drivers, change settings for individual games and in general, and also manage display settings. Additionally, a performance optimization function has appeared, which allows you to overclock video cards, including the ability to overclock video memory.

The driver also includes support for XeSS 2, which includes frame generation technology (Frame Generation, XeSS FG), which increases frame rates in games, as well as a latency reduction function (Intel Xe Low Latency, XeLL).

List of known issues:

  • In Crew Motorfest (Vulkan), image flickering may occur in certain scenes;
  • Homeworld 3 (DX12) may crash on launch;
  • Selaco (Vulkan) may crash on startup;
  • In Elden Ring (DX12) there is image stuttering in some scenes;
  • F1 24 (DX12) with XeSS FG may crash if XeSS FG settings are changed during gameplay;
  • In F1 24, when using Alt+Enter to change the display mode, a crash may occur;
  • MLPerf experiences crashes on systems with multiple GPUs (it is recommended to disable integrated graphics);
  • Topaz Labs Photo AI displays distortion in some operations;
  • Magix Vegas Pro exhibits distortion when using the Style Transfer feature;
  • Dassault Systemes CATIA crashes when using HQAO option;
  • Some video capture cards display artifacts in certain conditions;
  • Adobe Lightroom Classic may be slower than expected. It is recommended to change the application settings to: Graphics Processor: Custom. And also activate the options Use GPU for Display, Use GPU for Image Processing and Use GPU for Export;
  • In Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 (DX12), shadows are displayed darker than necessary;
  • Topaz Video AI may crash when exporting video after using some models;
  • Topaz Gigapixel AI may crash when exporting images;
  • Instability of SPECworkstation3.1 under certain types of loads;
  • PugetBench for Davinci Resolve Studio V19 may give errors when using the Extended preset;
  • Davinci Resolve Studio V19.0 may crash with errors in OpenVino tests.
