Intel began accepting orders for unannounced Arrow Lake chips ahead of the official announcement

Intel is preparing to introduce desktop 65- and 35-W Arrow Lake processors (Core Ultra 200 without the “K” suffix) at CES 2025, which will take place in early January. However, in China, some models can already be officially purchased by pre-ordering. The company announced this through its page on the Chinese social network Weibo.

Five processor models are available to Chinese buyers: Core Ultra 5 225F, Core Ultra 5 230F, Core Ultra 7 265F, Core Ultra 7 265 and Core Ultra 9 285. All new products can be found, for example, on the Chinese trading platform JD.com. Pre-orders are open today from 22:00 local time, and official sales (deliveries) will begin on January 13. The list of available new products does not include, although expected, Arrow Lake-T (Core Ultra 3,200) models with a TDP of 35 W.

Despite the fact that we are talking about processor models with a locked multiplier, the chips are advertised in packages labeled Unlocked, which translates as “unlocked.”

It should also be noted that motherboards based on Intel B860 and H810 chipsets, designed specifically for chips with a locked multiplier, are not yet available for sale. Their announcement, apparently, will take place at CES 2025. Currently, only motherboards based on the flagship Intel Z890 chipset are available for sale for these processors.
