Inflection AI and Intel presented an AI system based on Gaudi3

Startup Inflection AI and Intel Corporation have announced a partnership to accelerate the adoption of AI in the corporate sector. As part of the partnership, Inflection for Enterprise was announced, the industry’s first enterprise-class AI system based on Intel Gaudi3 accelerators and the Intel Tiber AI Cloud (AI Cloud).

Inflection AI was founded in 2022 by Mustafa Suleyman, one of the founders of Google DeepMind, and Reid Hoffman, one of the founders of LinkedIn. The startup specializes in generative AI technologies. In mid-2023, Inflection AI received $1.3 billion for development: Microsoft and NVIDIA were among the investors.

Inflection for Enterprise combines Gaudi3 with the Inflection 3.0 Large Language Model (LLM). The software is said to deliver twice the cost-effectiveness of some competing products when used on Intel hardware. Customers will receive an LLM customized according to their wishes. Reinforcement learning based on human feedback (RLHF) is used to meet the needs of each specific client. In this case, data provided by the customer himself is used.

It is noted that the AI Cloud simplifies the creation, testing and deployment of AI applications in a single environment, accelerating the time to market for products. Finely tuned AI models are available exclusively to the client and are not transferred to third parties. In the first phase, Inflection for Enterprise systems will be offered through the AI Cloud. In the first quarter of 2025, it is planned to organize deliveries of software and hardware systems.
