The developers equipped the new product with a 6.78-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2436 × 1080 pixels (Full HD+) and a refresh rate of 144 Hz. The panel has a peak brightness of 1300 cd/m² and PWM backlight brightness control with a frequency of 2160 Hz. The fingerprint scanner is integrated into the screen area.
There is a hole at the top of the display that houses a 32-megapixel front camera (f/2.2) capable of shooting 4K video at up to 30 frames per second. The triple main camera is housed in a massive octagonal module on the back of the case. It combines a 50-megapixel main sensor (f/1.9) with a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera (f/2.0) and an 8-megapixel wide-angle module (f/2.2). The camera is complemented by a dual LED flash. 4K video shooting at up to 60 frames per second is supported.
The Note 50 Pro+ 5G is powered by an eight-core MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Ultimate processor paired with a Mali-G615 MC6 graphics accelerator. The configuration is complemented by 12 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and a 256 GB UFS 4.0 drive. An evaporation chamber is used to cool the components. The device also has sensors for measuring blood oxygen levels and heart rate.
Autonomous operation is provided by a 5200 mAh battery with support for wired charging up to 100 W, reverse wired charging up to 10 W, and reverse wireless charging up to 7.5 W. A USB Type-C interface is provided for connecting the charger. Wireless connection is provided by Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.4 adapters, and there is an NFC chip.
The company notes that the Note 50 series smartphones use an Armor Alloy frame made of Damascus steel and aerospace-grade aluminum. The company’s HyperCasting technology makes the structure lightweight and durable, and the TÜV SÜD-certified shock absorption system protects internal components in the event of a fall. The case is also protected from dust and moisture according to the IP64 standard.
A modern smartphone cannot do without technologies based on artificial intelligence. In the Note 50 Pro+ 5G, neural networks are used in many aspects. For example, the Cheetah X2 algorithm is used to optimize battery capacity, and the XBOOST AI-based gaming engine improves gaming performance.
The smartphone supports proprietary Infinix AI∞ AI functions, which will be developed and supplemented. A long press of the power button activates the Folax voice assistant. Also implemented are functions for recognizing content on the screen, quickly searching for information, translating text and interacting with the assistant in a chat format. Artificial intelligence can control applications, contacts and calls using voice commands. AI tools for creativity include AI Eraser, AI Cutout, AI Writing, an AI generator of wallpapers and images from sketches, as well as an online translator of voice messages.
The smartphone has dimensions of 163.36 × 74.53 × 7.99 mm and weighs 209 g. The new product runs on Android 15 with the proprietary XOS 15 shell.
The retail price of Infinix Note 50 Pro+ 5G will be $370.
