Infinix introduced Zero 40 4G and Zero 40 5G smartphones with MediaTek chips, 108-megapixel cameras and fast AMOLED

Infinix has announced new Zero 40 series smartphones – Zero 40 4G and Zero 40 5G. Both new products are equipped with curved AMOLED displays, 108-megapixel main cameras and batteries with fast charging. The Zero 40 5G smartphone features a more powerful chipset, wireless charging and some other features.

Infinix Zero 40 5G

Zero 40 smartphones are equipped with 6.74-inch AMOLED displays with FHD+ resolution and a peak brightness of 1300 cd/m2. The Zero 40 4G display has a refresh rate of 120Hz, while the Zero 40 5G has a 144Hz refresh rate. The resolution of the front camera, located in the hole at the top of the display, is the same – 50 megapixels; a Samsung ISOCELL JN1 sensor is used. Both models also have an in-display fingerprint scanner.

The main camera of the Zero 40 4G and Zero 40 5G includes a 108-megapixel 1/1.67-inch Samsung ISOCELL HM6 sensor with optical image stabilization, as well as a 50-megapixel wide-angle module and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. However, the Zero 40 5G camera supports video recording up to 4K at 60 frames per second, and the Zero 40 4G supports 2K video recording at 30 frames per second.

Infinix Zero 40 4G

Both models support GoPro mode, which lets you connect to a compatible GoPro camera and use your smartphone as a viewfinder and control shooting modes directly from the camera app. The GoPro Quik app also comes pre-installed on smartphones.

Zero 40 5G is based on the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chip, which is complemented by 12 GB of RAM and 256 or 512 GB of flash memory. In turn, the Zero 40 4G smartphone is equipped with a MediaTek Helio G100 processor accompanied by 8 GB of RAM and a flash drive of 256 or 512 GB.

The Zero 40 4G supports Wi-Fi 5 wireless networks, while the Zero 40 5G supports Wi-Fi 6e. Both models are equipped with 5000 mAh batteries with 45 W fast wired charging. In addition, the Zero 40 5G supports up to 20W wireless charging and 10W reverse wireless charging. The Infinix Zero 40 4G comes in Misty Aqua, Blossom Glow and Rock Black, while the Zero 40 5G comes in Violet Garden, Rock Black and a body color graphite (Moving Titanium).

Infinix Zero 40 4G and Zero 40 5G smartphones will go on sale on September 8. The price of the younger model in the 8/256 GB version will be $279, and the cost of the Zero 40 5G starts at $395.
