Infinix has unveiled its first foldable smartphone, the Zero Flip. The new product is made in a clamshell form factor and is very similar in outline to the previously released model of the Phantom V Flip2 smartphone from Tecno.

Like the Phantom V Flip2, the new Infinix Zero Flip comes with a 6.9-inch main display. The display is built on an LTPO AMOLED matrix with support for a resolution of 2640 × 1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The peak brightness of the main display is 1400 cd/m2. The device also features an external 3.64-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1056×1066 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass 2 protection.
The main camera unit of the device contains two 50-megapixel sensors measuring 1/1.57 inches. The main module is equipped with optical stabilization. The second is used for wide-angle shooting. The main camera claims to be able to shoot video in resolutions up to 4K at 60 frames per second. In the holes on the main display of the device there is a 50-megapixel selfie camera with a 1/2.76-inch sensor, which can also shoot video in 4K up to 60 frames per second.
The weight of the Infinix Zero Flip smartphone is 195 grams. When folded, the thickness of the device is 16 mm, and when open it is 7.6 mm. The smartphone is equipped with a hinge that leaves no gap when closed. The hinge supports several opening angles from 30 to 150 degrees.
The Infinix Zero Flip is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8020 processor (four Cortex-A78 cores at 2600 MHz, four Cortex-A55 cores at 2000 MHz and a Mali-G77 MC9 graphics core). The smartphone offers 8 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage.
The device runs on the Android 14 operating system with the proprietary XOS 14.5 shell. Infinix is promising two major OS updates and three years of security updates for it. The Infinix Zero Flip is powered by a 4,720mAh battery with support for 70W fast wired charging.
The Infinix Zero Flip will be available in Rock Black and Blossom Glow colors. The new item was priced at approximately $645. The smartphone was introduced in Nigeria, but should appear in other markets in the future.
