The main event of the upcoming event is expected to be the announcement of Huawei’s first smartphone based on the stable version of HarmonyOS Next. According to the source, this will be a revolutionary device with an unconventional form factor. It may be a compact foldable smartphone equipped with a flexible display with an aspect ratio of 3:2 and a screen diagonal of 6.28 inches.
According to the source, the smartphone may receive a main camera built on a large 50-megapixel sensor. Other features include protection of the device’s case from dust and moisture, as well as a fingerprint scanner located on the side surface. Another highlight should be an affordable retail price, thanks to which more people will be able to join the HarmonyOS ecosystem. According to rumors, the new Huawei smartphone will be called Pocket 3 or P70 Pocket, but it is also possible that it will be released under the Pura brand.
In addition to the smartphone, Huawei will also announce other new products at the upcoming event. The vendor will present to the general public the updated Huawei MatePad Pro (2025) tablet, which should be more productive compared to the previous generation model. In addition, announcements are expected regarding products from Huawei-supported automaker Seres (Aito).
