HP has introduced the OmniBook 7 Flip 16 AI PC convertible laptop with a large 16-inch screen that can be opened 360°, which also allows the device to be used as a tablet. The new product is built on high-performance Intel processors with support for AI functions.

The HP OmniBook 7 Flip 16 is available in a variety of configurations with up to an eight-core Intel Core Ultra 9 288V processor with a frequency of up to 5.1 GHz and support for eight instruction threads. The notebook is available with 16 or 32 GB of LPDDR5x-8533 RAM and an NVMe PCIe Gen4 M.2 drive with a capacity of 512 GB to 2 TB.
The 16-inch OLED touchscreen with a 16:10 aspect ratio supports a 3K resolution (2880 × 1800 pixels), a refresh rate of 48–120 Hz, a response time of 0.2 ms, and a brightness of up to 500 cd/m². It also provides 100 percent coverage of the DCI-P3 color space. The display supports Low Blue Light mode with reduced levels of blue light that is harmful to the eyes. A model with an IPS panel with a resolution of 1920 × 1200 pixels, a brightness of 400 cd/m², and 62.5 percent coverage of the sRGB color space is also available.
The laptop is equipped with a 5-megapixel IR camera with a temporary noise reduction system and a microphone array. High-quality sound is provided by the Poly Studio audio system with two speakers and support for DTS:X Ultra technology. There is also a separate key on the keyboard for accessing the Copilot AI assistant.
The HP OmniBook 7 Flip 16 specifications also include Wi-Fi 7 wireless connectivity, a Thunderbolt 4 port, a USB Type-C port, two USB Type-A ports, DisplayPort 2.1 and HDMI 2.1 ports, and a headphone jack.
The device’s autonomy is provided by a 68 Wh battery with fast charging support, which provides a charge of up to 50% in 45 minutes. The laptop is made in an aluminum case and weighs 1.79 kg.
