HP has introduced the OmniBook X Flip AI PC convertible laptop with a 360-degree rotating display, which allows it to be used as a tablet. Thanks to high-performance processors and AI support, the new product can be used for office tasks, as well as for study and entertainment.

The HP OmniBook X Flip AI PC is available with a 14-inch or 16-inch OLED touchscreen display with a 16:10 aspect ratio, up to 3K resolution (2880 x 1800 pixels), 48–120 Hz refresh rate, 0.2 ms response time, and up to 500 nits brightness. The display covers 100 percent of the DCI-P3 color space and supports Low Blue Light mode to reduce harmful blue light. The notebook is also available with OLED and IPS panels (14-inch diagonal) with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels.

The notebooks come with up to an Intel Core Ultra 7 258V processor with a frequency of up to 4.8 GHz and up to an AMD Ryzen AI 7 350 with a frequency of up to 5.0 GHz. Configurations with Intel processors offer 16 or 32 GB of LPDDR5x-8533 RAM. Versions with AMD chips have 16, 24, or 32 GB of LPDDR5x-7500 RAM. The capacity of the PCIe 4.0 M.2 NVMe drive ranges from 512 GB to 2 TB.

The OmniBook X Flip features a 5MP IR camera with noise reduction, a dual-speaker Poly Studio audio system with DTS:X Ultra support, and a dedicated key on the keyboard to call up the Copilot AI assistant.

Connectivity options on the OmniBook X Flip include a Thunderbolt 4 port, a USB Type-C port, two USB Type-A ports, DisplayPort 2.1, HDMI 2.1, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Specifications also include support for Wi-Fi 7 networks. Power comes from a 59 Wh battery with fast charging support, which provides 50% charge in 30 minutes. The 14-inch model weighs 1.39–1.41 kg depending on the configuration, while the 16-inch version weighs 1.9 kg.
