HP is preparing a powerful Omen Max 16 gaming laptop with a 24-core Core Ultra 9 275HX and GeForce RTX 5080

Nvidia will present at CES 2025 early next month not only desktop, but also mobile video cards of the new GeForce RTX 5000 generation Blackwell series. One of the first laptops to receive such graphics will be the powerful HP Omen Max 16. Information about it has leaked to the Internet.

The HP Omen Max 16 will also feature the high-performance Core Ultra 9 275HX processor from the Arrow Lake series. The chip is a mobile version of the desktop flagship Core Ultra 9 285HX. Like its desktop counterpart, it received 24 cores (eight P-cores and 16 E-cores). The Core Ultra 9 275HX operates at frequencies up to 5.4 GHz. The processor also includes four Xe graphics cores.

The HP Omen Max 16 will offer a GeForce RTX 5080 as a full-fledged graphics subsystem. According to leaks, the card will receive 16 GB of dedicated GDDR7 memory, and the TDP of the accelerator will be 175 W. The laptop will also be equipped with a 16-inch screen, 32 GB of DDR5-5600 RAM and a 1 TB PCIe 4.0 SSD. The HP Omen Max 16 weighs almost 2.7 kg.

New Intel Arrow Lake-HX mobile processors, as well as GeForce RTX 50 series graphics cards, will be presented at CES 2025.
