Honor Power smartphone with powerful 8000 mAh battery and thin body presented
Today, Honor presented a smartphone with the telling name Power. The specific energy density of the Honor Power battery is 821 Wh/l, which means it can store 29.60 Wh of energy, which is higher than, for example, the much larger Apple iPad Air 11 tablet (28.93 Wh). The manufacturer claims that the smartphone can provide 25 hours of video viewing, 23 hours of continuous navigation, and 14 hours of gaming.

Honor Power is based on the single-chip mobile platform Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3. The amount of RAM is 8 or 12 GB, the capacity of the built-in storage is 256 or 512 GB.
The smartphone received, according to the manufacturer, a “micro quad-curved” 6.78-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1224 × 2700 pixels, a refresh rate of 120 Hz and 10-bit color. The peak brightness is 4000 cd / m². PWM brightness control is carried out at a high frequency of 3840 Hz.
The main 50-megapixel camera module with an ƒ/1.95 aperture lens and optical stabilizer can record video in 4K resolution. It is complemented by a wide-angle module with a resolution of 5 MP. The front camera, installed in a cutout at the top of the screen, received a 16-megapixel sensor and can shoot video in 1080p resolution.
Honor Power supports two SIM cards, and the most advanced version boasts the ability to transmit text messages via the BeiDou satellite system. The manufacturer promises 20% higher positioning accuracy using a dual-band GPS receiver. Wireless communication options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3 (LDAC, aptX HD) and NFC.
The smartphone supports 66W wired charging, and just 2% of the battery charge is enough for an hour of phone calls. The USB Type-C port used for charging only supports USB 2.0 data transfer speeds. The phone is declared waterproof, but the manufacturer does not provide an official IP rating.
Honor has already started shipping the smartphone to retail chains in China, where the smartphone will be available from April 18. The model with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage is priced at $270, the version with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage costs $300, and the version with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage costs $340.
