Honor 400 Lite smartphone with Dimensity 7025-Ultra chip and 108-megapixel camera unveiled

Last year, Honor dropped the Lite variant of the Honor 300 series of smartphones. This year, it was the Honor 400 Lite that opened the company’s new series of smartphones. The most notable advantages of the new device are the 108-megapixel camera and a dedicated button for controlling shooting and AI functions.

The Honor 400 Lite features a 6.7-inch flat AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The peak brightness of the panel is 3500 cd/m². There is an optical fingerprint scanner under the screen. The pill-shaped display cutout houses a 16-megapixel front camera and an LED flash for selfies.

Honor 400 Lite is based on the MediaTek Dimensity 7025-Ultra mobile single-chip platform. The smartphone will be available in versions with 8 or 12 GB of RAM and a storage capacity of 128 or 256 GB.

The back of the smartphone features a redesigned camera island, which has changed from an oval to a triangular shape. The main 108-megapixel camera has a 1/1.67-inch sensor with an ƒ/1.75 aperture and 3x zoom. It is complemented by a 5-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, which also functions as a depth sensor.

The device has a multifunctional camera button located on the right side under the power button. It can be used to launch the camera app, take photos, start video recording, and control framing. Holding the button activates visual AI functions to identify objects being photographed.

Honor 400 Lite runs on MagicOS 9.0 software shell based on Android 15.

The smartphone’s 5230 mAh battery supports 35 W wired charging. The Honor 400 Lite will be available in green, black, and gray colors.

The 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant is now available for pre-order for €269, with the retail price set to €299. The first shipments are expected within the next week.
