Hackers hacked the OZON account on VKontakte and sent links to the theft of money to the subscribers

Unknown cybercriminals hacked the account of the OZON Support Support Employee on VKontakte and sent phishing subscribers to the Marketplais, in which they offered to receive prizes “on the occasion of the anniversary” of Ozon, but for this it is supposedly necessary to pay for the commission. To date, access to the account was restored, and the newsletter was stopped.

The page of the OZON Support Service on VKontakte was hacked on the night of January 29, after which the social networks began to receive a phishing mailing list, representatives of the trading platform told RIA Novosti: “We are aware of the situation, and now the access is restored, and the newsletter is stopped” . The administration of the social network helped to delete all the messages sent by attackers, they called on the page subscribers “In no case do not cross the links.”

In letters, hackers informed VKontakte users that Ozon launches a competition with prizes on the occasion of his anniversary. To participate, it was proposed to follow the link and pay for the commission in order to get a prize. Marketplace subscribers began to publish shots of screens with these messages in the comments on Ozon’s publications. Subsequently, messages in the group were closed until February 1.
