Google Play has announced the best apps and games of 2024

Google noted that Google Play in 2024 has become more than just an app store. In an effort to support developers, the company has “improved accessibility, expanded gaming experiences, increased creator rewards, and ensured timely delivery of content.” Google said it hopes developers and publishers will continue to help people discover new apps, games and books – wherever they are, on any device.

The event planning platform Partiful was named the best app of 2024. It was recognized as the best app “thanks to its intuitive design and new approach to creating invitations.” The app’s built-in Party Genie tool helps you quickly design invitations and offers potential attendees a quick way to confirm their participation with a simple link.

Fantasy RPG AFK Journey has been named the best game of 2024 on Google Play thanks to its extensive character roster and fun tactical combat system. At the award ceremony, it was noted that “the huge explorable world and beautiful artistic style also set it apart from its peers.”

Max was named Best Multiplatform App due to its extensive library of TV shows, movies and original content, and the ability to continue watching on multiple devices. The application provides maximum viewing convenience regardless of the user’s location and the device he is using.

Clash of Clans won the Best Multiplatform Game category. Although the game has been around for over a decade, its popularity has increased this year with its deployment on PCs and Chromebooks. “Now mobile classics are optimized for wherever you play, however you want to play, whether it’s on your phone, foldable tablet, Chromebook, or PC,” Google said in a blog post.

• «Best Google Play Games on PC: Cookie Run: Tower of Adventures.
