Google Pixel Watch 4 Smartwatch Appears in Images — Difficult to Find Differences from Current Ones

Images of the Google Pixel Watch 4 smartwatch have become publicly available — they were published by 91mobiles and insider Steve Hemmerstoffer, also known under the pseudonym OnLeaks. The device seems very similar to the previous generation model: a round display and a wheel on the side.

There are changes, but they are not very noticeable, the authors of the leak claim: Pixel Watch 4 has become thicker than the current model – 14.3 mm versus 12.3 mm. I would like to believe that with the increase in thickness, the battery capacity has also increased. The thickness of the frames has also decreased slightly, the resource reports, but it is not easy to determine this visually.

Of particular interest is the lack of charging contacts on the Pixel Watch 4. This suggests that the next-generation smartwatch will work exclusively with wireless charging, while the current version requires a magnetic charger. On either side of the speaker on the side, the source claims, there are buttons, but it’s hard to tell visually whether these protrusions are actually buttons.

Google traditionally releases new Pixel Watch in September or October, so the fourth-generation smartwatch is expected in the fall. On the other hand, the company introduced the Pixel 9 and Pixel 9a smartphones earlier than expected – it is possible that the announcement of the Pixel Watch 4 will also be shifted.
