Google will officially unveil the new Pixel 9 smartphones in the middle of next month. However, several short videos have already appeared on the social network TikTok, which supposedly demonstrate the Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro XL devices.

The devices shown in the video confirm rumors about future Google smartphones that appeared earlier. The main camera of the device is now placed in a massive oval module, which protrudes strongly above the surface of the back of the case. The Pixel 9 Pro XL visually looks much larger than the base model, its dimensions are slightly smaller than the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. The Pixel 9 Pro XL appears to have a triple rear camera setup, while the Pixel 9 has a dual rear camera setup.

The Pixel 9 Pro XL has glossy sides, while the Pixel 9 has matte sides. According to rumors, Google will replace the in-display fingerprint scanner with a faster and more accurate ultrasonic sensor in new smartphones. This should resolve issues that some Pixel 8 smartphone users were experiencing when unlocking their devices. It is also possible that the Pixel 9 will appear in a new pink color version of the body.

Google is expected to officially unveil the new Pixel 9 smartphones at a special event on August 13th. It is possible that before this, more information about the company’s new smartphones will appear.
