Google has launched ASK for Me Function for calls to automatic and manicure salons instead of a user

Google tests a new II instrument that appears to companies on behalf of users to find out questions and write down their questions and write down for a meeting. A function called ASK for Me collects information about the prices and availability of services, but so far it is maintained only to search for those or other criteria for users of manicure salons and automobile.

The inclusion of the experimental function in the Google Search Labs will add to the results of the webpage of local manicure salons or ASK for ME. When choosing it, Google will ask the user a number of questions. For example, if we are talking about servicing a car, then the system will ask the brand and a car model, the desired type of service (for example, oil change, tire change, etc.), as well as the time and date for which the user would like to sign up for visiting a car repair shop. It will also be necessary to enter your email address and/or phone number to which the user will receive updates at his request.

According to the head of the Google products department, Rose Yao, the ASK for Me function was created on the basis of Duplex – a tool in the form of a free service that uses AI for calls to restaurants and, simulating a human voice, reserves places on behalf of the user.

In a conversation with The Verge portal, the representative of Google Craig Ever added that with the help of ASK for ME, “Each call begins with the message that this is an automated Google system calling on behalf of the user.” Companies may refuse to receive automated calls in the settings of their Google Business Profile profile or with direct communication with the AI. Ever says that the system provides a quota system for calls so that the companies do not receive such automatic calls too often. He also added that any information collected by the AI-Bot “can be used to help with similar requests from other users.”
