As announced at MWC earlier this month, Google has begun rolling out new features for users of its Gemini Live voice assistant. This includes screen-sharing and camera sharing via the Project Astra algorithm.

According to the source, some Android users got the feature at the end of this week. One user activated the updated Gemini Live interface and noticed a new “Share screen with Live” button, located next to the “Ask about screen” button. It is noted that at the moment, you can only share the entire screen, without the ability to select individual apps.
At the same time, users have gained access to the Project Astra algorithm, which makes the device’s camera truly interactive and allows it to be used to interact with the outside world. To start interacting with this tool, you need to launch the Gemini Live interface and activate the camera. In the lower right corner of the screen, a button will be available to switch to the front camera.
It makes sense that Google is gradually rolling out new AI-powered features, making them more widely available to Android users. If the company’s plans are not disrupted, both features will likely become available to more users of compatible devices in the coming weeks.
