Gigabyte Unveils Radeon RX 9070 XT and RX 9070 in Aorus Elite and Gaming Editions

Gigabyte has introduced its versions of the Radeon RX 9070 XT and RX 9070 graphics cards in the branded Aorus Elite and Gaming versions. All new products have additional factory overclocking of the graphics processor.

In the Aorus Elite version, the manufacturer presented only the Radeon RX 9070 XT model. The card is equipped with a massive cooling system with three fans. The company emphasizes that the radiator of the cooling system is equipped with a large evaporation chamber with a contact pad for cooling not only the graphics processor, but also the memory chips around it.

The dimensions of the Radeon RX 9070 XT Aorus Elite OC are 339 × 136 × 59 mm. It will take up three expansion slots in a PC case. The company does not provide the GPU frequencies for the presented cards.



The Radeon RX 9070 XT Aorus Elite OC features a dual BIOS system with quiet and performance modes. For additional power, the card is equipped with three 8-pin PCIe connectors. There is an LED on the board indicating the correct connection of the power cables.

The Radeon RX 9070 XT Gaming model from Gigabyte measures 288 x 132 x 56 mm, while the RX 9070 measures 288 x 132 x 50 mm. Both will take up more than two expansion slots in a PC case. The cooling systems of the Gaming cards also feature large vapor chambers, but they contain fewer heat pipes compared to the Aorus Elite model.

The Radeon RX 9070 XT and RX 9070 Gaming models are equipped with a dual BIOS system with quiet and performance modes. The senior card received three 8-pin PCIe power connectors, and the junior one – two. On the upper end of the cooling system casing, the video cards have a decorative moving element in the form of a slider.



Gigabyte’s Radeon RX 9070 XT models feature two DisplayPort 2.1a and two HDMI 2.1b video ports. The RX 9070 offers three DisplayPort 2.1a and one HDMI 2.1b.

For older versions, the company recommends using power supplies with a capacity of 850 W, for younger versions – from 750 W.
