GeForce RTX 5000 will offer “advanced DLSS technology” and “neural imaging”

Nvidia GeForce RTX 5000 graphics cards will offer “advanced DLSS technology” and “neural imaging capabilities.” This statement was made by Inno3D, one of Nvidia’s key partners, which announced its participation at CES 2025 early next month, where the announcement of new video cards is expected.

The company did not directly indicate that we are talking specifically about GeForce RTX 5000 video card models. However, this becomes obvious from the manufacturer’s statement that “new accelerator models will be presented at CES 2025.” The manufacturer also clarified that new card models are expected to be announced in its proprietary versions iChill Frostbite (with LSS), iChill X3, X3, Twin X2, as well as in a completely new version Small Form Factor. In the latter case, we are talking about compact models, which in turn hints at a possible announcement by Nvidia of not only older GeForce RTX 5090 and RTX 5080 video cards with a high TDP, but also younger models.

Inno3D in its statement notes that they are waiting for us:

  • Advanced Nvidia Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS) technology, which will offer improved image quality and higher frame rates;
  • Improved Ray Tracing: Improved RT cores to provide more realistic lighting, shadows and reflections in games;
  • AI-Accelerated Graphics: Improved performance in AI-enabled tasks and better integration of AI into gaming and content creation workflows;
  • Neural rendering capabilities: a revolutionary approach to graphics processing and display;
  • Improved Energy Efficiency with AI: More efficient power consumption, using AI to optimize power consumption and control temperature;
  • Improved AI upscaling: Beyond gaming, improved AI upscaling benefits content creators by offering better quality when upscaling video content;
  • Generative AI Acceleration: Optimizations to speed up generative AI tasks, aligned with the growing trend in AI-powered content creation.
