Galax has released the GEFORCE RTX 5080 video card in its proprietary performance by HOF OC Lab Plus-X. By tradition, the card is designed for extreme acceleration. To do this, the novelty is equipped with a significantly enhanced 26-phase VRM power subsystem with a phase circuit 14+6+6 (70A DRMOS), as well as a high-quality component base and a 12-layer printed circuit board. The cooling system and the printed circuit board of the card are white.

Galax GeForce RTX 5080 HOF OC Lab Plus-X is equipped with a massive cooling system, which includes three fans (two with a diameter of 102 mm, one-92 mm). The cooling system received a decorative plastic element in the form of a crown with Argb lighting-a branded feature of all HOF series cards. The manufacturer will also offer a card option without this crown.
The card has a bios double system. For the graphic processor of the novelty, the factory acceleration is declared to a frequency of 2730 MHz. The accelerator receives additional power supply one 12+4-pin connector 12V-2×6. The energy consumption indicator of the video card is unknown. However, many custom versions of RTX 5080 with additional overclocking GPU have TDP 400 watts.
Next to the 12V-2X6 power connector, the GeForce RTX 5080 HOF OC Lab PLUS-X has a LED indicating the correct connection of the power cable. The same feature is, for example, in the RTX 50th series from Zotac.
According to Galax, GeForce RTX 5080 Hof OC Lab Plus-X has already entered the sale. The manufacturer did not report the cost of the new item.
