G.Skill has expanded its range of high-speed, low-latency DDR5-6000 memory designed specifically for the AMD Socket AM5 platform with a new 96GB (2 x 48GB) dual-channel kit. The manufacturer previously announced 48GB and 192GB dual-channel DDR5-6000 and DDR5-8000 high-speed RAM kits for the same platform.

For the new 96GB DDR5-6000 memory kit, G.Skill states CL26-36-36-96 timings. The RAM modules support AMD EXPO overclocking profiles. The manufacturer notes that the memory was tested on an Asus ROG Crosshair X870E Hero motherboard paired with a Ryzen 9 9950X3D processor, as well as on an MSI MPG X870E Carbon WIFI motherboard paired with a Ryzen 9 9900X processor. The test results in the Memtest utility are presented below.
G.Skill has also updated the specifications of the previously announced 48GB (2 x 24GB) DDR5-6000 CL26-39-39-96 memory kit. The manufacturer has managed to reduce the latencies of this memory to CL26-36-36-96. The kit was tested on the Asus ROG Crosshair X870E Hero motherboard paired with the Ryzen 9 9900X processor.
The announced memory kits will be offered by G.Skill as part of its proprietary RAM series Trident Z5 Royal Neo, Trident Z5 Neo RGB and Ripjaws M5 Neo RGB. Sales of the new products are expected to start in May.
