G.Skill has introduced a large-capacity DDR5-6000 RAM kit — 256 GB, consisting of four RAM modules of 64 GB each. The manufacturer notes that the product is based on DDR5 memory chips from SK hynix.

The company tested the 256 GB DDR5-6000 memory kit on Asus ROG Crosshair X870E Hero and MSI MPG X870E Carbon WIFI motherboards in combination with AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D and Ryzen 9 9900X processors, respectively. The memory showed stable operation with CL32-44-44-96 and CL32-45-45-126 timings.


In addition, the specified memory kit demonstrated the ability to effectively overclock to DDR5-7000 with timings of CL38-50-50-126 in combination with the Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor and MSI MEG X870E Godlike motherboard.


In addition, G.Skill demonstrated the performance of a 256GB DDR5-6400 memory kit with low latencies of CL32-44-44-102. Testing was conducted on an Asus ROG Crosshair X870E Hero board with a Ryzen 9 9900X3D processor, as well as on an MSI MAG B850M Mortar WIFI board with a Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor.
