G.Skill introduced DDR5 modules at 16 and 48 GB with low delays and increased frequency

G.Skill introduced new two -channel DDR5 RAM sets. One of them offers a volume of 32 GB (2 × 16 GB), a speed of 6400 mt/s and low CL28 timings. The second is a volume of 96 GB (2 × 48 GB), a speed of 6800 mt/s and the CL32 timings. Both options will be produced in the branded series Trident Z5 Royal, Trident Z5 RGB and Ripjaws M5 RGB.

All presented novelties received support for Intel XMP 3.0 acceleration profiles. The manufacturer did not report the support of the AMD Expo dispersal profiles. In addition to the DDR5-6800 CL32 kit, the company in the future will also release two-channel sets with a volume of 32 GB (2 × 16 GB), 48 GB (2 × 24 GB) and 64 GB (2 × 32 GB). However, supernarial delays will offer only 32 GB sets (2 × 16 GB). New items will appear on sale in March.


G.Skill tested the DDR5-6800 CL32-42-42 sets up to 96 GB (2 × 48 GB) on the ASUS ROG Maximus Z790 Dark Hero motherboards in combination with the Intel Core i9-14900k processor, as well as on the ASUS ROG Maximus Z89 0 Hero paired with the Core Ultra 7 265K processor.

The DDR5-6400 CL28-39-39 set is 32 GB (2 × 16 GB) the company tested the ASUS ROG Maximus Z790 Dark Hero on the Intel Core i9-14900K processor.
