HONOR recently introduced a new flagship smartphone, the Magic7 Pro. We covered it in detail in our review, and here we will briefly talk about the five main features of the HONOR Magic7 Pro that can attract users.
HONOR Magic7 Pro received a triple rear camera with a number of improvements both at the hardware and software levels. The main module is built on a 50-megapixel Super Dynamic Falcon Camera sensor with variable aperture optics. The wide-angle camera is equipped with a 50-megapixel sensor and autofocus for macro shooting. The telephoto camera is built on a large sensor with an impressive resolution of 200 megapixels and is equipped with high-aperture optics. It provides 3x optical zoom, 6x hybrid zoom, high-quality digital zoom up to 10x, and 100x zoom.
In addition, the smartphone is equipped with auxiliary sensors: LiDAR to increase the speed and accuracy of focusing, as well as color temperature and flicker sensors. The main camera provides consistently high quality photos in any lighting. The wide-angle camera provides a very large viewing angle (122 degrees), while the sharpness at the edges of the frame decreases slightly. The zoom is implemented well – there is almost no focus defect, the picture remains clean and sharp, without the “oversharp” effect.
Not all flagship smartphones can boast of high battery life, as it is difficult to combine it with high performance and elegant design. However, the HONOR Magic7 Pro has it all.
Our test showed an impressive result – almost 22 hours of operation, which is higher than the predecessor and significantly better than the Pixel 9 Pro XL. In terms of battery life, the Magic7 Pro is comparable to the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra.
In addition to its high autonomy, the HONOR Magic7 Pro supports 100W fast charging via wire and 80W wireless charging. In the first case, the battery charges from 0 to 100% in just 35 minutes, and in the second – in 45 minutes.
HONOR Magic7 Pro features a screen with micro-curved protective glass on four sides and almost symmetrical thin frames. The device uses a 6.8-inch LTPO AMOLED panel with a pixel density of 453 PPI, a dynamic refresh rate of 1–120 Hz, a peak brightness of up to 5000 cd/m² and a full-screen brightness of up to 1600 cd/m². High image quality with accurate color rendering is confirmed by Dolby Vision and HDR Vivid certificates.
Magic7 Pro offers various vision protection tools. In addition to the standard warm-tone mode before bed, the smartphone can adjust to circadian rhythms (i.e. change the color temperature depending on the time of day). In addition, the device slightly defocuses the image at the edges, reducing eye strain during prolonged use.
HONOR Magic7 Pro is built on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite hardware platform. The processor is complemented by 512 GB of high-speed flash memory and 12 GB of RAM of the latest standard, which can be expanded by another 12 GB using HONOR RAM Turbo technology.
The MagicOS 9.0 platform offers an updated interface, expanded personalization options, and AI tools. One of the key features is the second generation of Magic Portal, which allows you to navigate between applications, search for information on the Internet, and recognize content using gestures. This feature uses artificial intelligence, analyzes the context, and takes into account the user’s habits. Magic Portal can also automatically recognize text in images and any content on the screen. The second version adds support for popular applications such as Yandex and 2GIS services.
In addition, the HONOR Magic7 Pro received the AI Translation application, which works as a chat with voice and text input, as well as simultaneous translation. The Gallery now has an AI eraser for removing unnecessary objects from photos, and the HONOR Notes application has intelligent tools for working with voice and text notes. These include a brief summary, automatic formatting, translation, and separation of voices in dialogues.
