With no news of an official remaster of Obsidian Entertainment’s fan-favorite RPG Fallout: New Vegas, one avid fan has decided to make his own remaster… entirely in The Sims 2.

Enthusiast Baron Pulitzer, known under the nickname FalloutPropMaster, has taken on the task of recreating Fallout: New Vegas inside the famous life simulator from EA, which was released six years before the RPG from Obsidian.

Pulitzer’s project is called The Sims 2: New Vegas. The Sims 2 was chosen as the tool for this remake by chance: FalloutPropMaster saw a couple of casinos from New Vegas recreated using The Sims 2 tools.
The enthusiast has no experience working with The Sims 2 tools, as in the past he made mods only for Fallout 3 and New Vegas, so this project will be an opportunity for him to learn something new.
FalloutPropMaster is currently busy planning the New Vegas Strip, building Goodsprings, recreating characters, and testing the first version of the redesigned UI.
There’s no release date for The Sims 2: New Vegas, but the mod will likely see the light of day sooner (if at all) than the sequel Fallout: New Vegas, which is still not in development.
