Doogee V40 Pro – the first rugged smartphone with a 4nm Dimensity 7300 processor is already on sale

The well-known manufacturer of rugged devices Doogee introduced for the global market a new heavy-duty smartphone Doogee V40 Pro with support for 5G networks and a pre-installed Android 14 operating system with the Doogee OS 4.0 software shell.

Doogee V40 Pro is equipped with a 6.78-inch IPS touch display with FHD+ resolution (2408 × 1080 pixels) and a refresh rate of 120 Hz, supporting the display of 16.78 million colors. The display is protected from scratches by durable Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. On the back panel there is an additional touch screen for displaying relevant information – battery charge, date and time, etc.

The waterdrop notch at the top of the screen houses a 32MP selfie camera. On the back panel there is a main camera with a 200-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL HP3 sensor with f/1.8 aperture, a 20-megapixel Sony night vision camera (f/2.0), an 8-megapixel sensor with a wide-angle lens with a viewing angle of 130° and support for macro photography (f/2.2), as well as another 8-megapixel telephoto lens for shooting with 3x optical zoom (f/2.2).

Doogee V40 Pro is based on a 4nm eight-core MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor with a clock speed of up to 2.5 GHz, an Arm Mali-G615 graphics accelerator and a 5G modem. The smartphone has 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM with support for virtual expansion of 20 GB and a 512 GB uMCP flash drive with the ability to expand by another 2 TB using a microSD memory card, which ensures the launch of resource-intensive applications and heavy games, as well as ample storage space media files and various content. The power source is a massive 8680 mAh battery with support for 33 W fast charging.

For protection against moisture and dust, as well as drops and shocks, the smartphone meets the requirements of IP68, IP69K standards, and has also successfully passed tests under the MIL-STD-810H certification, which confirms the possibility of its use in adverse environmental conditions. Doogee V40 Pro can be in water for up to 30 minutes at a depth of up to 1.5 m without compromising performance, and can withstand dust storms and falls from a height of up to 1.5 m. A side-mounted fingerprint scanner is used to unlock the smartphone. There is also an NFC module, which allows you to pay for purchases without a card through the terminal using a contactless method.

The smartphone supports proprietary Doogee AI technology, which “includes a variety of advanced features designed to meet the diverse needs of modern users.” For example, AI Call Recording lets you convert call recordings into text while offering seamless translation into the target language and creating call summaries. And the AI ​​Text Assistant feature allows you to rework text and adapt your writing style to suit different contexts.

The smartphone is available in silver and blue colors.
