The DJI RS 4 Mini features a new intelligent tracking module, faster vertical shooting mode, and a Teflon coating for smoother balancing. With the second-generation automatic axis locks, owners can unlock the stabilizer’s three-axis locks in just one second to apply the techniques they need during shooting.
The DJI RS 4 Mini Combo Advanced Kit includes an intelligent tracking module for framing and composition. By enabling ActiveTrack on any camera system or on your phone, you can keep a person in the frame at a distance of up to 10 m, even in difficult conditions. Tracking is initiated with a single press of a switch or a visual command – an open palm. The new Responsive mode allows the gimbal to react more quickly to hand movements when starting or stopping – this feature is designed for shooting fast-moving subjects. The classic Smooth Follow mode provides a smooth response from the gimbal and is suitable for general subject tracking scenarios.
The upgraded 4th generation stabilization mechanism provides an improved balance between stabilization strength and the feeling of camera movement, and the gimbal performance has been improved when shooting in vertical orientation. Compared to the previous model, the new DJI RS 4 Mini offers a 30% increase in battery life – up to 13 hours, and a 30-minute charge provides an additional 5 hours of use. A payload of up to 2 kg means it supports a wide range of popular mirrorless cameras with different lens combinations. The tracking module has a secure magnetic mount, allowing it to be installed in just a second.
The DJI RS 4 Mini gimbal is available for €389 for a kit that includes one gimbal, a quick release plate, an RS 4 Mini tripod, an L-shaped cable for multi-camera control, a USB Type-C charging cable, and a set of propellers. The DJI RS 4 Mini Combo is available for €479 and also includes an Intelligent Tracking Module and a handle for transporting or more precise camera control.
