The new laptop model XPS 13 (9350) is assembled in the same case as last year’s models, as well as the recently released Dell XPS 13 (9345) based on Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite processors. Thus, the key update of the laptop is associated precisely with the new Intel platform.

The Dell XPS 13 starts at $1,339.99. For this price, the manufacturer offers a model based on an eight-core (4P+4E) Intel Core Ultra 5 226V with a frequency of up to 4.5 GHz, seven cores of integrated Intel Arc 130V graphics based on 7 Xe cores with a maximum frequency of 1.85 GHz, as well as an NPU with a performance of 40 TOPS. The maximum configuration of the laptop is equipped with an eight-core Core Ultra 9 288V with a frequency of up to 5.1 GHz, which also includes integrated Intel Arc 140V graphics based on eight Xe cores with a frequency of up to 2.05 GHz and an NPU with a performance of 48 TOPS.

The laptop also offers from 16 to 32 GB of LPDDR5x-8533 RAM integrated with the processor, an SSD of up to 2 TB (a 4 TB version will appear later) and support for Wi-Fi 7. There is a choice of three 13.4-inch screen options: with 1920 × 1200 pixels (non-touch), 2560 × 1600 pixels touch, or 2880 × 1800 pixels OLED touch panel.

Intel touts Lunar Lake processors as very energy efficient. According to Dell’s internal tests, the XPS 13 based on Core Ultra 7 256V can last up to 26 hours on a single battery charge while watching Netflix videos at a screen brightness of 150 cd/m2.

The updated Dell XPS 13 laptop model with Intel Lunar Lake processors is expected to go on sale starting September 24. Pre-orders for the new product are already being accepted.
