Cubot KingKong X is an affordable rugged smartphone with 5G and a 10,200 mAh battery

The Chinese company Cubot plans to launch a number of new products on global sales next week, including the KingKong X rugged smartphone with 5G support, two screens and a massive battery. Despite its high functionality, the new product has an affordable price.

The Cubot KingKong X smartphone is designed specifically for use in the most unpretentious conditions. Regardless of where you are – surfing on the sea or ocean, climbing a mountain or going on a hike, this smartphone will withstand all the tests and remain functional in any conditions. For protection against moisture and dust, Cubot KingKong X meets IP68/IP69K standards. The device’s ability to withstand harsh environmental conditions, as well as withstand drops and shocks without compromising performance, is confirmed by MIL-STD-810H certification.

The smartphone is based on an eight-core MediaTek Dimensity 7050 processor (two Cortex-A78 cores with a frequency of 2.6 GHz, six Cortex-A55 cores with a frequency of 2.0 GHz) with a Mali-G68 MC4 graphics accelerator, manufactured using a 6-nm process technology. The LPDDR5 RAM capacity is 16 GB, expandable up to 32 GB via flash memory, and up to 1 TB of storage can be added to a UFS 3.1 flash drive with a capacity of up to 512 GB using a microSD memory card of up to 1 TB.

In addition to the 6.58-inch FHD+ (2408 x 1080 pixels) IPS display with a 120Hz refresh rate, the smartphone has a second 1.85-inch touchscreen on the back that can be used to take selfies using the main one. camera, receive call notifications or display incoming messages and other information such as the time, battery level or weather forecast.

On the back panel of Cubot KingKong X there is also a camera with a 108-megapixel sensor, complemented by a 24-megapixel night video camera and a 5-megapixel sensor for macro photography with HDR and night mode, providing the ability to shoot with high quality in any lighting, as well as at night days, and video recording in 4K resolution. For taking selfies, the smartphone has a front camera with a resolution of 32 megapixels.

Also noteworthy is the smartphone’s massive 10,200 mAh battery with 32W fast charging, providing up to 76 hours of phone calls, up to 42 hours of music listening and 17 hours of video viewing. In addition, the device specifications include support for Wi-Fi 6 and 5G, as well as NFC. Cubot KingKong X runs on Android 14 operating system.
