Let us remind you that in the plot, four losers are drawn into a cubic world through a mysterious portal. To return home, the heroes will have to show courage and ingenuity, and team up with local expert Steve.
The new trailer lifts the veil of secrecy on the film’s main conflict: the inhabitants of the Upper World fight for survival against the piglins of the Lower World, led by their leader Malgosha.
The video is also full of all sorts of references and inside jokes for Minecraft fans, such as a zombie rider, a trick to negate fall damage with a bucket of water, a baby panda being born after eating bamboo, and so on.
As much as fans disliked the debut teaser for “Minecraft in the Movies,” the latest trailer was warmly received: in less than two hours, the video collected 59 thousand likes and 6.7 thousand dislikes.
Not all fans were reconciled with the look of the film, while others were reconciled with the reality. “It looks horrible in the best sense of the word,” concluded user Gaspode from the ResetEra forum.
The world premiere of “Minecraft the Movie” will take place on April 2, and the US premiere will take place on the 4th. The film was directed by “Napoleon Dynamite” director Jared Hess, and the leading roles went to Jack Black and Jason Momoa.
