Chromebooks are about to get smarter and more powerful with pre-installed AI tool NotebookLM

Google has released several AI features based on the large Gemini language model. These include NotebookLM, a powerful tool for summarizing text, taking notes, conducting research, and analyzing data in text documents, videos, and audio. Now, Google has decided to increase the popularity of NotebookLM among users.

The feature is very useful for students, researchers, and others who need to analyze large amounts of data. Google wants to make NotebookLM more accessible, so soon the feature will be available on Chromebooks by default. To start interacting with NotebookLM, just go to notebooklm.google.com in your browser. Based on this, we can conclude that the AI feature is quite accessible to the masses, since many people interact with browsers on a regular basis.

The problem is that many people who would find NotebookLM extremely useful have never heard of it. That’s why Google wants to add NotebookLM to the list of pre-installed apps on Chromebooks, which will make more people pay attention to the tool.

To implement this plan, Google will include NotebookLM as a pre-installed app on Chrome OS, the operating system that powers Chromebooks. If Google sticks with this plan, Chromebooks will soon come to market with the NotebookLM web app pre-installed. It is not yet known whether this will apply to existing laptops or only to new devices.
