The day before, a photo of the packaging of the Intel Core Ultra 9 285K processor hit the Internet, and insiders hastened to publish images of the packaging of the Core Ultra 7 and Core Ultra 5 processors. The boxes are marked “Unlocked” and “Series 2”, that is, we are talking about Arrow Lake processors. S series Core Ultra 200K, which will offer an unlocked multiplier and therefore the possibility of overclocking, and their TDP will be 125 W.

Previously, the company equipped processors for Extreme Edition series enthusiasts with black packaging, and in recent years, black packaging was used for special models of the Chinese market – such chips were not sold outside the Middle Kingdom. Intel has so far refrained from publishing details about the new generation processors, and their release date has not been announced either.

If you believe unofficial information, Core Ultra 200K will appear on October 24 along with motherboards based on the new Z890 chipset. Only five models are expected to debut initially, with more to follow, including a 65W TDP variant without an unlocked multiplier.
