Blackview W70 Pro Smartwatch, MEGA 2 Tablet, and BV8200 Smartphone to Go on Global Sale on March 17

Blackview has announced the launch of a number of new products globally on September 17, including the Blackview W70 Pro rugged smartwatch, the Blackview MEGA 2 slim and large tablet, and the Blackview BV8200 rugged smartphone.

The Blackview W70 Pro smartwatch supports over 100 sports modes, allowing you to track your workout progress by monitoring key fitness and health indicators. With IP68 water, dust, and shock resistance, the wearable device can be taken with you to workout in any weather, and can also be used to monitor swimming and extreme sports.

Blackview W70 Pro is equipped with a rectangular LCD display with a diagonal of 2.01 inches and a resolution of 280×320 pixels. The design of the dial can be selected at your discretion, taking into account your preferences and the type of training from the existing collection of 100 pre-installed options.

The smartwatch monitors your heart rate and can also be used to measure your blood oxygen levels, stress levels, and sleep quality.

The Bluetooth 5.3 protocol is used to connect to a smartphone or other external signal source, which allows you to receive notifications received on the connected device, as well as answer calls. You can use the voice assistant to control the functions of the smartwatch.

The 900mAh battery provides up to 20 hours of battery life in normal mode and up to 100 days of standby time. The Blackview W70 Pro is equipped with a built-in compass and a bright LED flashlight, which can be useful during orienteering classes or hiking.

The smartwatch case is made of aircraft-grade aluminum, its dimensions are 51×45×15 mm, weight is 50 g.

The Blackview MEGA 2 tablet is designed for work and entertainment. It is lightweight and compact in size with a body thickness of only 8 mm, and therefore will not take up much space in a backpack on a hike or on vacation. Thanks to the support of Wi-Fi 5 and 4G networks, the user will always be in touch and have access to the Internet at any time of the day.

Blackview MEGA 2 features a 12-inch 2K display with a resolution of 2000×1200 pixels, providing a clear, bright picture. Thanks to the thin bezels, the screen-to-body ratio is 84.9%. The display has received TÜV Rheinland certification, which confirms the reduced level of blue light harmful to the eyes, allowing you to use the device for a long time without damaging your eyesight.

The tablet is built on an eight-core Unisoc Tiger T615 processor (2 × Cortex-A75 with a frequency of 1.8 GHz + 6 × Cortex-A55 with a frequency of 1.6 GHz), providing high performance when running resource-intensive applications and demanding games, as well as when working in multitasking mode. The amount of LPDDR4X RAM is up to 12 GB, the capacity of the UFS2.2 flash drive is 256 GB. The storage capacity can be expanded by another 2 TB using a microSD memory card.

The device has an 8-megapixel AI camera on the back. There is also a 16-megapixel front camera for video calls and conferences, or taking selfies. For photo editing, you can use AI tools like Magic Eraser to remove background noise, Sky Replacement to change the color of the sky, Portrait Blur to highlight objects and blur the background, Photo Unblur to sharpen blurry images, etc.

With Widevine L1 support, the tablet offers full HD video streaming on platforms like Hulu, Amazon Prime Video, and Disney+. The device’s specs include dual speakers and a 9,000mAh battery that’s rated for 38 days of standby time on a single charge.

The ultra-rugged Blackview BV8200 smartphone is equipped with two displays – a main 6.5-inch display and an additional 1.3-inch display, which can be used to display various useful information, including notifications and battery charge information, date, time.

The main display of the smartphone supports FHD+ resolution (2400 × 1080 pixels) and a refresh rate of 120 Hz, providing a clear, realistic picture and smooth scrolling. The secondary display supports a resolution of 360 × 360 pixels with a refresh rate of 60 Hz. In Glove Mode 2.0, the display supports touch control when wearing gloves. Both displays are protected from scratches by durable Corning Gorilla Glass 5.

The Blackview BV8200 uses a high-performance MediaTek Helio G100 octa-core processor with a clock speed of up to 2.2 GHz, manufactured using a 6-nm process technology. The amount of LPDDR4X RAM is 12 GB, which can be virtually expanded up to 24 GB. The uMCP flash drive capacity is 256 GB. For memory expansion, there is a slot for microSD cards up to 2 TB.

For taking photos and videos, the device uses a camera system with a 50-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL GN5 sensor measuring 1/1.57 inches with optical image stabilization and a wide-angle 13-megapixel module, providing high-quality photos. For taking selfies, the smartphone received a 32-megapixel camera. Photos can be edited using AI tools such as Magic Eraser, Sky Replacement, Portrait Blur, Photo Unblur, etc.

The smartphone’s high autonomy is provided by a massive 8800 mAh battery, supporting up to 888 hours of operation without recharging in standby mode. The device is also equipped with a bright LED flashlight with support for SOS and lighting modes, the luminous flux power of which is 164 lumens.

In terms of protection against dust, moisture and impacts, Blackview BV8200 meets the strict requirements of IP68, IP69K and MIL-STD-810H standards, which makes it an indispensable companion on hikes, mountain climbs and on vacation. The device will also be in demand among those who work in hot workshops, at construction sites, etc.

Blackview BV8200 runs DokeOS 4.0 based on Android 14. The company guarantees three years of software platform updates.
