Biostar introduced the flagship AM5 board X870E Valkyrie

Biostar has introduced the flagship X870E Valkyrie motherboard, designed specifically for AMD Ryzen 9000 processors. The new product also supports previous-generation Ryzen 8000G and Ryzen 7000 chips.

The board received a reinforced 22-phase VRM power subsystem with a phase circuit of 18+2+2, each phase of which is designed for a current of 110 A. The new product supports installation of up to 192 GB of DDR5 RAM with a speed of more than 8000 MT/s via overclocking (support for Intel profiles is declared XMP and AMD EXPO).

Biostar X870E Valkyrie is equipped with two PCIe 5.0 x16 slots, one PCIe 4.0 x16, one M.2 slot for PCIe 5.0 NVMe drives and four M.2 slots with PCIe 4.0 support.

The new product also features six SATA III connectors (6 Gbps), a 2.5 Gbit network adapter, Realtek ALC1220 audio codec, two USB4 ports (Type-C 40 Gbps) on the rear panel of connectors, 10 USB 3.2 Gen2 ( eight on the rear and two on the front) and four USB 2.0.

In addition, the board received Wi-Fi support and a quick BIOS update button with a corresponding USB connector.
