Asus has announced updated ROG Strix gaming laptops, as well as the TUF Gaming A18 and F16, which are now available for pre-order in select markets. The new models feature cutting-edge Nvidia graphics accelerators with support for innovative technologies such as DLSS 4 and Frame Generation, which bring ray tracing to more affordable prices.

«Our pre-order lineup includes the ROG Strix G16 and ROG Strix G18, powered by Intel and AMD processors, as well as the updated TUF 16 and the new TUF A18, the first 18-inch TUF Gaming laptop, all available for pre-order from our partners,” Asus said in a statement.

ROG Strix G16 and G18 are equipped with 16- and 18-inch displays, respectively. They use panels with a resolution of 2560 × 1600 pixels (2.5K), a refresh rate of 240 Hz, and an aspect ratio of 16:10. The response time is 3 ms, and the coverage of the DCI-P3 color space is declared at 100%.

They are available in different configurations with Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX processors, as well as AMD Ryzen 9 7940HX and Ryzen 9 9955HX. The configuration is complemented by an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 graphics accelerator, up to 32 GB of DDR5 RAM (up to 64 GB in the case of the G16 with a Ryzen 9 9955HX chip) and a solid-state drive of up to 2 TB. The design provides two PCIe 4.0 slots for storage. Models with Intel processors are equipped with a PCIe Gen 5 slot.

The cooling system is powered by advanced Ti-Fan technology, a large full-width heatsink, and vents all around. Power comes from a 90Wh battery. The ROG Strix G18 with the Core Ultra 9 275HX is priced at $2,500, while the G18 with the Ryzen 9 7940HX is priced at $2,100. The ROG Strix G16 with the Core Ultra 9 275HX is priced at $2,400, while the Ryzen 9 9955HX model is priced at $2,100.

The TUF Gaming A18 is the first laptop in the series to feature an 18-inch display. It features a 2.5K panel with a 240Hz refresh rate and 500 cd/m² peak brightness. It has a 16:10 aspect ratio and 100% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage.

The laptop is equipped with an AMD Ryzen 7 260 processor combined with a mobile version of the GeForce RTX 5070 graphics card. The configuration is complemented by 16 GB of DDR5 RAM with a frequency of 5600 MHz and a PCIe Gen 4 drive with a capacity of up to 1 TB. The cooling system includes second-generation Arc Flow Fans. Autonomy is provided by a 90 Wh battery. The cost of the device is $ 1800.

As for the TUG Gaming F16, it received a display with support for 2.5K resolution and a refresh rate of 165 Hz. In the maximum configuration, the laptop is equipped with an Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX processor and a GeForce RTX 5070 graphics accelerator, as well as 16 GB of RAM and a 1 TB PCIe Gen 4 drive. The retail price of the laptop will be $ 2,100.
