Asus Unveils ROG NUC 2025 Gaming Mini PC — Core Ultra 9 and GeForce RTX 5080 in a 3-liter Case for $3,335

Asus has officially unveiled the updated ROG NUC 2025 gaming mini-PC, which features high-performance hardware and a compact form factor. The device is housed in a three-liter case and is equipped with an updated cooling system with two evaporation chambers and three fans.

In terms of specifications, the developers equipped the ROG NUC 2025 with the flagship processor for portable systems Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX Arrow Lake-HX with 24 cores (eight productive P-cores and 16 energy-efficient E-cores) with an operating frequency of up to 5.4 GHz, 76 MB of cache and a maximum power of 160 W. The processor includes a neural coprocessor (NPU) with a performance of 13 TOPS (trillion operations per second) to accelerate the execution of artificial intelligence tasks.

The powerful processor is complemented by a mobile Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 graphics accelerator with 16 GB of GDDR7 video memory, which is roughly comparable in performance to the desktop version of the GeForce RTX 5070. It is curious that the manufacturer does not offer an option with the flagship GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card, but this may be due to limitations in terms of system cooling in such a compact case.

It supports up to 96 GB of DDR5-6400 RAM (the device is sold with 32 GB of RAM), as well as PCIe 5.0 M.2 solid-state drives. It supports up to four 4K displays, and Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 modules are provided for wireless connection. As for the available interfaces, the rear panel of the case has four USB 3.2 ports, an Ethernet connector, a Thunderbolt 4 interface, and two HDMI 2.1 connectors. In addition, three USB 3.2 ports and a combined microphone and headphone jack are located on the front panel.

The Asus ROG NUC 2025 will go on sale later this month. The 1TB version of the mini PC will cost $3,335, while the 2TB version will cost around $3,420.
