Unfortunately, unlike most other manufacturers that have already unveiled their versions of the cards, Asus does not provide data on the frequencies of the GPUs. The Radeon RX 9070 XT and RX 9070 in TUF Gaming and Prime versions use the cooling system design already known from the GeForce RTX 50-series models, which includes three cooling fans.
The Radeon RX 9070 XT and RX 9070 TUF Gaming cards measure 330 x 140 x 62.5 mm. They will take up 3.1 expansion slots in a PC case. The RX 9070 XT has three 8-pin PCIe connectors for additional power, while the RX 9070 has two.
The Radeon RX 9070 XT and RX 9070 Prime measure 312 x 130 x 50 mm, taking up 2.5 expansion slots in a PC case. As with the TUF Gaming models, the RX 9070 XT Prime features three 8-pin power connectors, while the RX 9070 has two of these connectors.
For Radeon RX 9070 XT models, the manufacturer recommends using 850 W power supplies, and for RX 9070 – 750 W. The company explains that the power supply power is calculated taking into account the full overclocking of the GPU and CPU.
The new products are equipped with fans with a full stop function. When the GPU temperature is below 55 degrees, they do not rotate, reducing the overall noise level of the PC. The cooling systems of the cards use special thermal pads for the GPU with a phase transition. For all models, the manufacturer notes the presence of a dual BIOS system with quiet and productive operating modes.
