Asus has unveiled its first Radeon RX 9070 GRE in the ATS Megalodon edition. Sales of the new product will begin on May 8, but so far only in China.

The manufacturer has developed a new cooling system for the Radeon RX 9070 GRE. It is 2.2 expansion slots thick and has three fans. The card is based on the Navi 48 graphics chip with 48 execution units and 3072 stream processors. The new product includes 12 GB of GDDR6 memory with support for a 192-bit bus and a bandwidth of 432 GB/s.
The ATS Megalodon version of the graphics chip is declared to be factory overclocked. The GPU Boost frequency is 2860 MHz (via the Asus GPU Tweak profile, the frequency can be increased to 2880 MHz). The reference Boost frequency for the Radeon RX 9070 GRE is 2790 GHz.
The Radeon RX 9070 GRE has a power consumption of 220 W. The card has two 8-pin connectors for additional power. Asus recommends using a power supply with a power of 650 W or more. The new product was noted at some retailers at a price of 4199 yuan (about $588).
