ASUS showed a flagship smartphone with a 3.5 mm headphone jack-this is Zenfone 12 Ultra, which will be presented on February 6

ASUS announced earlier this month about plans to present the new flagship smartphone Zenfone 12 Ultra on February sixth. In anticipation of the announcement of the Taiwanese company published a teaser video on the social network X, which gives an idea of the new product.

Judging by the video, Zenfone 12 Ultra is equipped with a large flat display with thin frames and placed in the hole in the upper part of the front camera. The screen shows an interface of the application for translation – apparently, we are talking about the function of translating a telephone conversation in real time using AI.

The teaser also confirms the presence of a 3.5 mm headphone connector, which is now quite rare in smartphones, and almost never in flagship.

According to sources, from the point of view of the hardware, ASUS Zenfone 12 Ultra is a ROG Phone 9 PRO without game improvements. Therefore, it will be equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED-display Full HD+ with a frequency of update 185 Hz, as well as a 5800 mAh battery with support for a rapid wired charging with a capacity of 65 watts.

Its specifications may also include four cameras-the main 50-megapixel, 32-megapixel telephoto-camera, 13-megapixel with wide-angled optics and 32-megapixel for a selfie. By protection against moisture and dust, the novelty will probably meet the IP68 standard.
