Asus has introduced the Asus Fragrance Mouse MD101 wireless computer mouse, which can emit various aromas thanks to its removable container for aromatic oils.

Last year, Asus collaborated with perfume brand Anna Sui and Adol to release the Adol 14 Air Fragrance Edition, a notebook with a built-in fragrance dispenser in the lid that can be customized by swapping out scented cartridges.

The Asus Fragrance Mouse MD101 is a hybrid wireless mouse that supports both 2.4GHz wireless and Bluetooth connectivity. Although it’s a regular office mouse, Asus has equipped it with low-friction PTFE feet, similar to its flagship G-series gaming models like the G502 X Plus and G Pro X Superlight 2.

Asus Fragrance Mouse MD101 supports three resolution levels – 1200, 1600 and 2400 DPI, so no additional software is required to configure it. According to the manufacturer, the mouse switches are designed for 10 million clicks and are characterized by a low noise level. One AA battery is used as a power source, the charge of which is enough for a year of operation. The container for aromatic oils is located at the bottom of the device, right behind the battery compartment.

The mouse will be available in two colors – white (White) and pink (Rose Clay). The device is compatible with Windows, Chrome OS and macOS operating systems.

The price and release date of the Asus Fragrance Mouse MD101 are still unknown.
