It looks like Asus may be preparing to release a new portable console called ROG Ally, and Microsoft’s Xbox division may have something to do with it. Asus posted a teaser of the ROG Ally on its social media page, and the Xbox account responded to it.

In its teaser, Asus promises a “new level of gaming.” Perhaps the company will introduce some kind of gaming device today. Recall that many considered the announcement of the original ROG Ally console a joke, since it took place on April 1. For this reason, the announcement of the successor on this date would seem quite logical.
If Asus is indeed preparing a new version of ROG Ally, what hardware components are they using? What does Xbox have to do with this device? Are companies trying to blur the line between Xbox and PC with this device? Will it be a Windows-based device with additional Xbox features, or something else? There are many questions, but no answers yet.
If we are talking about a new portable ROG Ally console, will it be based on AMD chips like its predecessor? If so, what kind of processors will Asus use – the new Ryzen Z2 Extreme or something more exotic?
